    Update: 2015 International Congress on Controlled Environment Ag

    Just Released from the ICCEA:

    It is our great honor to inform you that the INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT AGRICULTURE 2015 will take place on May 20th- 22nd 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel in Panama City.

    For the first time in Latin America you will find a Congress dedicated to indoor Agriculture including Vertical Farms, Greenhouse and AG TECH. This one of a kind congress offers the opportunity to hear conferences and panels with international well known speakers with focus on the six components of CEA (controlled environment agriculture), including: Managing the Environment, Managing Nutrient Solutions, Managing your Growing System, Managing Light, Managing Water and Managing Energy.

    The program includes well known speaker from the horticulture field such as Dr.Toyoki Kozai, Professor at the University of Chiba in Japan and President of Japan Plant factory Association, Dr. Leo Marcelis form the Wageningen University in Netherlands, PhD Wei Fang from the National Taiwan University in Taiwan, PhD Ricardo Hernandez of the University of Arizona in the USA and Dr Vasco Duke Hernandez from the University of Panama in Panama.

    This first edition of the International Congress on Controlled Environment Agriculture will take place in Panama, a country with a variety of options for tourism. It has beaches, mountains, rainforest and the Panama Canal, all this together with a diverse infrastructure that mix a rebuild old town and modern buildings, as a manifest of the growing economy of Panama. Panama’s geographical location is very privileged with air-connections to all main Cities in Latin America and direct connections to several destinations of USA and Europe.
