In September 2016, Priva opened a new branch office in Victoria, Australia. This is the 18th office of the Dutch family-owned business and will operate as the sales and support office for Australia and New Zealand. With the appointment of Marcus van Heijst as account manager, the company has gained a horticulture expert with over 20 years of local experience. Together with the partners operating on this continent, Priva is investing in additional knowledge and additional service for its local customers.
With the opening of this new branch office called Priva Oceania Pty Ltd and the appointment of Marcus van Heijst, the company is responding to the growing needs of the market. Priva has already been active in Australia and New Zealand for over 30 years with sales and support provided from its headquarters in De Lier and via local and international partners. Training is carried out by, among others, the Chisholm Institute, a major local training and knowledge centre in the Australian horticulture industry.
In addition to Priva Oceania Pty Ltd, Priva has a second branch office in Asia, Priva ASIA Shanghai, that has recently opened. Priva will soon also be opening a new sales and support office in South Africa providing local representation on every continent.
