Dr. Paul Fisher from the University of Florida IFAS Extension hosts Dr. Dan Jacques of Sun Gro Horticulture in a new YouTube video (https://youtu.be/UmgBa5AdO_Y). Dan provides tips on using vermicompost as a component in container substrates. Do you know where vermicompost comes from? How it affects pH of your mix? At what rate should you add it to your organic mix? Answer all these questions and more with this new video.

This video is part of the series called “Five Tips for Horticulture” featured on the Greenhouse Training Online channel (https://tinyurl.com/ufgto). The series highlights technical topics from university and industry experts. Look for upcoming videos on topics such as growing media and running successful trials. The channel is sponsored by the Floriculture Research Alliance (floriculturealliance.org).
